Before emptying the solids container and after a long period of downtime, the coconut substrate mixture can be loosened. This makes emptying easier and the substrate can be mixed better again.
A plastic spatula is best for this as it does not leave scratches in the agitator and can be cleaned hygienically after use. The holder for the spatula can be glued to a free corner.
This means that the spatula is always tidy and easy to find.
