Does it stink here? Well, not here!

More and more campers, more and more garbage. The amount of toilet waste is steadily increasing and is becoming a growing concern. Waste from chemical toilets is expensive to dispose of and, if not disposed of properly, also puts a strain on sewage treatment plants.
Another issue is the large number of plastic bags filled with feces from alternative camping toilets that end up in the general waste bins. These increasingly cause unpleasant odors at the disposal stations and are met with incomprehension by many camping guests.
The ever-increasing amount of garbage is also driving up disposal costs for campsite operators. Increasing fees for guests with such waste is the logical response from campsites.

With HELIPOTT, unpleasant odors stay at bay. The material to be disposed of has very little volume and weight and, above all, is odorless, so even if it ends up in the general waste, there's no unpleasant odor.
Ideally, it is collected separately, composted, and returned to the natural cycle. A future-proof, sustainable solution with no plastic waste and no unpleasant odors.
Join in and shape the future with meaningful decisions, trust in nature and its wonderful abilities, and enjoy the comfort that Helipott offers you. Simply unique.

Why doesn’t the waste at HELIPOTT smell?

It's not just the separation of solid and liquid. There's something more involved. It's the "mixture" that counts!

  1. In the HELIPOTT agitator, the solids are not only covered with a spreading material, but are also crushed and intensively mixed with the substrate.
  2. This process removes liquid from the feces and what ends up in the pot begins to compost.
  3. The integrated fan and the program-controlled interval stirring in the HELIPOTT E-DRIVE ensure constant ventilation and support the composting process.
  4. For the Helipott Easy models, we recommend sufficiently long stirring times, see FAQs.
  5. The Helipott E-Drive has an indicator when the substrate needs to be replaced.

The result: A homogeneous, dark mass that looks and smells like potting soil—very pleasant!
